Heritage Brew Festival

While not technically in October, the Annual Heritage Brew Festival is the start of Fall in Manitou Springs. Each year, Breweries from all over the state of Colorado take over Memorial Park offering samples of your favorite brews. All proceed benefit the Manitou Springs Heritage Center. Classic Horror Movie Nights
Get ready for the Halloween season with Classic Horror Movie Nights, every Friday in October.
The Manitou Springs Heritage Center sponsors this free event for ghouls of all ages. Popcorn and concessions are available and all proceeds from the sales support our local free museum. |
Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Iron Spring Chateau
Rocky Horror is a classic movie, but it's also so much more. Join us for a showing of the movie with a live cast playing along on stage. If you have never been to a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening, you do not want to miss out.

"Ghost Stories of Old Manitou" Walking Tours

In the evening following the Coffin Races, hear true stories of real people from Manitou Springs’ history with this one-of-a-kind walking tour. Friday October 28th through Sunday October 30th
Seatings at 10:30am, 12:30pm, and 2:30pm each day. Coffin Race After Party
Help celebrate the winners and losers of the Emma Crawford Coffin Races with live music, food, and a beer garden. Awards are presented for the fastest teams, Best Emma and Best Entourage, and the winner of the Coffin Cup.
The After Party takes place immediately following at the Bud Ford Pavilion in Soda Springs Park (right next to the finish line). Don't miss out! |
